Subject: Internal Memo: Legal Update

Good morning everyone,

We are writing to inform you that the Cloud is currently involved in a legal matter regarding our Reanimation software. This is an ongoing situation, and while we are unable to disclose all details at this time due to the nature of the case, we want to assure you that we are handling it with the utmost care and attention.

Our legal team is actively working to resolve the matter, and we are committed to keeping you updated as appropriate. We understand this may raise questions or concerns, and we encourage you to reach out to HR/Management should you have any immediate inquiries. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from discussing the matter outside the company, as confidentiality is crucial.

We are aware of the rumors beginning to circulate in the media regarding this service, and we would like to take some time to explain how the service works in hopes to dispel some of them.

Our Reanimation service, as an extension of our Cloud service, enables users to keep in contact with their loved ones who have passed on to the Cloud for a yearly fee. Reanimations take around 24 hours from upload to process, sometimes longer depending on server demand and age. Once the decoding process is complete, the reanimation is then streamed to the client. Some claim that these reanimations are AI generations – that is far from the actual truth. These are sentient interpretations of uploaded consciousnesses, meaning they can say and do as they please and would in the physical world. They have access to their bank and social media accounts and are able to transact with the people of the physical world. The head AI of the Cloud, Aphrodite, was programmed for three things: to protect humanity, to serve humanity, and to stabilize humanity. She was built not only to sustain humanity, but to grow them. With the Earth in the critical state it is in, we are proud to offer a safe and ethical solution to extinction.

We plan to develop prototypes for a Walker branch of our Reanimation service, and have been successful in some aspects of the technology. However, we wish to deliver a quality product to our customers, and would not release this in an unsatisfactory state.

We appreciate your professionalism and continued dedication during this time. Rest assured that we are focused on minimizing any impact this may have on the day-to-day operations and the wellbeing of our employees.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Sincerely,
Lucian Lemott
