If we can capture a functioning officer and extract its knowledge, we could then move forward with converting Aphrodite’s satellites and broadcasting to all machines on Earth, providing the ultimate vessel for the return of the human superconsciousness and ushering in the Reanthropocene.
Drones are simple enough, but developing a mask for complex machine brains like walkers could take millenia. Until then, the Faraday shield and the sands of the bahr may continue to hide us, and we have developed these tunnels over the years where physically breaching and invading us would be as easy as invading a large country. We have trained for guerilla warfare in that case, but our intelligence indicates a low likelihood of that occurring. It’s best to prepare for all outcomes. Our mission cannot fail.
